Nayanthara's Kolamavu Kokila has come out with flying colours at the Tamil Nadu box office. With the critics and fans giving it a thumb-up, the Kollywood flick is expected to easily become a hit at the collection centres.
Going by the estimations made by the traders, Kolamavu Kokila has minted Rs 14.75 crore in five days at the Tamil Nadu box office. On Tuesday, the movie had decent footfalls across the state.
On its opening day, the Nayanthara-starrer earned close to Rs 4 crore and earned Rs 3.1 crore to take its two-day tally to Rs 7.1 crore. On Sunday, Aug 19, Kolamavu Kokila posted its best performance by minting Rs 4.1 crore to take its total tally to Rs 11.19 crore in its first weekend itself.
In the next two days, Kolamavu Kokila is estimated to have grossed Rs 3.56 crore. It has to be noted that the numbers are not official figures and makers are yet to reveal the collection of the flick.
Among the overseas centres, Kolamavu Kokila has earned Rs 29.02 lakh in the US, Rs 10.61 lakh in Canada, Rs 24.62 lakh in the UK, Rs 11.74 lakh in Australia and Rs 33.67 lakh in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, the Telugu version of Kolamavu Kokila is also getting ready for the release.
