Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor appears to have lost the love she shared with Deepika Padukone in "Koffee with Karan" last season.
Sonam during her appearance on the recent episode of Karan Johar's chat show with father Anil Kapoor made quite a few politically correct statements.
However, when it came to contemporaries Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, the actress appeared to have different opinion about the leading ladies.
The "Raanjhanaa" actress was interestingly all praise for Kaif's style, as she said, "Katrina is herself. She does not try to fit into a mould...She does not try to be the fashion icon of the century. She is herself, which is amazing."
When it came to Padukone, Sonam remarked that the former is 'upping her game' but went on to credit the actress' designer instead for the progress. But in the rapid fire round, the actress had all guns blazing at Padukone as she referred to the "Chennai Express" actress' PR team as 'overenthusiastic' and skeptically remarked on her dressing sense.
"She's not a clotheshorse, she doesn't have her own style," the leggy lass said. Adding the final nail to the coffin, Sonam unhesitatingly called Padukone is the "Good Girl Gone Bad."
Sonam's sudden change of stance towards Padukone has many wondering where the once friendly bond between the two gone. The duo quite famously got together to bash Ranbir Kapoor in the same couch last season. However, the changing equation of the duo in the industry with respect to each one's career has quite possibly affected the ladies' bonding.
But it should also be noted that in recent times Sonam bonded pretty well with Rishi Kapoor in "Bewakoofiyaan" and confessed that the senior actor was her best co-star till date. With the affinity that the actress shares with Rishi presently, it is quite natural she has become averse to Padukone and instead has words of praises for Kaif, Ranbir's current ladylove.
