‘Koffee with Karan’: I am Virgin and Will be Until Marriage, says Salman Khan

Karan Johar's talk show "Koffee with Karan" Season 4 had a grand opening with Salman Khan getting candid about his professional and personal life.

The superstar true to his nonchalant attitude revealed in a conversation that he is still a virgin. "I am a virgin and I would like to save myself till marriage," he told Karan.

The shocking confession had the film maker in splits of laughter, after which Salman in his hilarious style went to lie down on the couch to show that he loved sleeping alone and valued his singledom.

Salman further said that he stays away from most of his ex-girlfriends so that he does not become a hindrance to their present personal life.

On being asked whether he hasn't found the right girl for marriage the actor said: "There were quite a few right persons but I am still in the process..."

The superstar said that he was once on the verge of getting married to actress Sangeeta Bijlani and wedding cards too had been printed, but things failed to materialize.

"Why did it fail, did Sangeeta catch you?" asked Karan. Salman caught unaware first joked around but then went on to say, "Yeah, kind off" and laughed it off.

This is the first time Salman made an appearance on the "KWK" and on being asked why he had stayed away from the show in the previous season, the actor said that he was uncomfortable with Johar's personal questions about girlfriends and marriage.

The actor also opened on his cold relation with his contemporary Shah Rukh Khan and came up with some witty retorts during the much awaited rapid fire round.
