The undefeated American professional boxer Floyd Mayweather has added the ultra-limited edition Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita to his supercar garage.
Currently world's highest-paid athlete, Mayweather has posted a picture of him with the supercar on his Instagram account. He captioned the image with "My new 4.8 Million dollar car." The car costs around Rs 32 crore.
Mayweather claims the Swedish manufacturer, Koenigsegg made only two Trevita's for the world and his car is the second one. However, the company's website indicates the CCXR Trevita is a limited edition of three CCXRs with unique, white carbon fibre body work. 'Trevita' is Swedish for three whites and the models were produced in 2009.
The most important highlight of the Trevita is the unique coated fiber solution program that transformed the fibers from black to a sparkling, silvery white. The carbon-fibre body parts were available only in black till Trevita.
The Trevita features a unique double carbon rear wing, inconell exhaust system, carbon ceramic brakes with ABS, airbags, paddle-shift, chrono instrument cluster, infotainment system, tire monitoring system and a hydraulic lifting system.
The super car is powered by a 4.8-litre V8 engine with twin superchargers and churns out a whopping 1018bhp and 1080Nm of torque mated to a specially developed transversal paddle-shift gearbox. The manufacturer claims it can zoom past 100kmph in just 2.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of over 410kmph.
Mayweather claims his Trevitta is the only USA-specific one in the world and ends his Instagram post by saying, "It is beyond a Super Car, and is classified as a Hyper Car."
