Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 13 km Aluva-Palarivattom corridor of Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) on Saturday, June 17 in a grand inauguration ceremony set for 11 am at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kaloor.
According to the instructions from PM's office, only Modi, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu are allowed to address the gathering during the inaugural ceremony. Now, the big question is; who will translate Modi's speech in Hindi?

Netizens seem to be counting on K Surendran to fill the translator's shoes "again". When Modi visited Kerala for the first time after assuming office in 2014, Surendran was tasked with translating the PM's Hindi speech while he was addressing BJP activists in Thrissur. However, it turned out to be a comedy of errors shot through with slip-ups and omissions. At one point, the General Secretary of Kerala state BJP even failed to follow the speech and was heard saying: "I can't hear".
