Superstar Rajinikanth's much-awaited movie "Kochadaiyaan" has been finally locked, director Soundarya R Ashwin said.
Rajinikanth along with KS Ravikumar, Soundarya R Ashwin and other team members on Thursday watched the edited version of the Tamil period film "Kochadaiyaan".
"One of THE most important days of my life.Kochadaiyaan locked :) Appa& ks Ravikumar uncle watched the entire movie and r thrilled!!!" Soundarya, younger daughter of Rajinikanth, wrote on her Twitter handle.
The movie stars Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Rajinikanth in lead roles. It also features Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Nassar and Jackie Shroff.
"Today (Thursday), the fully edited movie was viewed by superstar Rajinikanth, KS Ravikumar and his entire team along with Soundarya Rajinikanth. Ravikumar said that the film was thrilling, big in canvas and much larger in grandeur than he ever anticipated," the production house said in a statement, according to IANS.
The post-production work and dubbing of the multilingual film will start from this month. AR Rahman has composed the score for the film and Vairamuthu wrote the lyrics.
The film is expected to release during summer in four different languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. However, some reports also suggest that the film will be released in English and Japanese, as Rajinikanth has a huge fan base in Japan.
Earlier, there were several reports stating that the film will release on the special day, 12.12.2012, coinciding with Rajinikanth's birthday.
