The romantic comedy film "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" (KKPK) staring Kapil Sharma is performing at the domestic box office. The film is enjoying its box office run due to Kapil's fan base and strong word of mouth.
"Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" minted Rs 33.31 crore in four days and adding fifth-day total, the collection stands at Rs 37.12 crores. The film minted approximately Rs 3.81 crore on its fifth day.
"#KisKiskoPyaarKaroon passes the crucial 'Monday test'. Maintains ROCK-SOLID biz. Collects ₹ 4.5 cr on Mon, taking 4-day total to ₹ 33.31 cr," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the four day box office collection.
"Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" is slowly moving towards Rs 50 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The film has earned Rs 37.12 crore from Indian markets, while from the overseas box office it minted Rs 7.92 crore, thus taking its worldwide total to Rs 45.04 crore.
"#BoxOffice #KIS!KISKOPYAARKAROON has collected approx. 1.2 mil. USD [7.92 crores] in its opening weekend in the overseas," Bollywood Hungama tweeted the overseas collection of "KKPK".
Meanwhile, Kapil was not expecting the overwhelming response that he has received for his debut film.
"It feels good when your efforts are appreciated. I was not expecting such a positive response," the "Comedy Nights With Kapil" hero said at a special screening of his debut film here.
"Thanks to everybody for sending so much love and blessings. 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' commenced on a very good note and hopefully it will carry on a high note in coming weeks," added Kapil
Directed by Abbas Mustan, the film features Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis, Amrita Puri, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram, Sai Lokur, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sharat Saxena, Manoj Joshi, Sharad Sankla (Charlie), and Johnny Lever's daughter Jamie Lever in pivotal roles.
