After recording a solid opening weekend, Kapil Sharma's film "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" passed the crucial Monday test at the domestic box office.
The film managed to hold well on its fourth day at the box office. "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" minted Rs 4.5 crore on Monday and now the four-day box office collection stands at Rs 33.31 crore.
"#KisKiskoPyaarKaroon passes the crucial 'Monday test'. Maintains ROCK-SOLID biz. Collects ₹ 4.5 cr on Mon, taking 4-day total to ₹ 33.31 cr," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
The film features a newcomer - Kapil Sharma - in the male lead role and even the lead actresses are just a few films old, but the film has managed to score well at the box office. The box office collection of the film is better than several movies starring A-list Bollywood actors.
"'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' has had an amazing kickstart. The film has given a good start to Kapil's Bollywood career and he is already in awe with all the love and support he's been getting from his fans across India," read a statement.
Meanwhile, the film has opened with an average response at the overseas box office. It collected Rs 134 crore from the US-Canada box office, Rs 73 lakh from the UK box office, Rs 1.35 crore from UAE-GCC in just one day, Rs 33 lakh from Australia and Rs 14 lakh from New Zealand.
The overseas box office collection of "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" stands at Rs 3.89 crore.
Adding the opening weekend overseas box office, the worldwide total of "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" comes to Rs 37.2 crore.
Directed by Abbas Mastan, the film features Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis, Amrita Puri, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram, Sai Lokur, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sharat Saxena, Manoj Joshi, Sharad Sankla (Charlie), and Johnny Lever's daughter Jamie Lever in pivotal roles.
