Dileep and Madonna Sebastian-starrer "King Liar" is scheduled to hit screens April 2 — at the Kerala box office.
The movie, which narrates the story of a person known as the "king of liars," is the directorial venture of Lal with Siddique's story and screenplay. The comedy entertainer is expected to do good business at the box office as it is one of the most-anticipated Malayalam flicks of the year.
The film has background score by Deepak Dev, music by Alex Paul, and cinematography by Alby. "King Liar" is produced by Ouseppachan Valakkuzhy under the banner of Valakuzhi Films.

Siddique-Lal
The highlight of "King Liar" is it marks the reunion of director-duo Siddique and Lal after a gap of 22 years. After delivering the superhit Malayalam movies "Ramji Rao Speaking," "In Harihar Nagar," "God Father," "Vietnam Colony" and "Kabooliwala," among others, the duo had split for some unknown reason in 1993. Since then, movie-goers have been eagerly awaiting their comeback movie, and the Dileep-starrer is expected to recreate that magic.

His comedy entertainers have always opened to positive response from movie-goers, especially the family audience, in Kerala. Most of Dileep's movies have done good business and his previous movie "Two Countries" was one of the highest grossing comedy films in Malayalam. Therefore, expectations are sky high from "King Liar."
Madonna Sebastian
Madonna is just two movies old, but has become a favourite of many for her turn as Celine in Alphonse Puthren's blockbuster "Premam" opposite Nivin Pauly. The movie and the actress were praised by the Tamil audience, following which she bagged the lead role in Nalan Kumarasamy's "Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum" opposite Vijay Sethupathi. The actress was lauded for the character Yazhini in the romantic comedy, which opened to positive response.
