Kim Kardashian's desperation for her second baby is not new as she has expressed it a few times in the past. But she surprised many by making a startling revelation on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" (KUWTK) on Sunday on the reason behind not being able to conceive despite trying hard with her husband Kanye West.
The 34-year-old reality star said that she was having problems conceiving due to issues with her uterus from her first pregnancy and that a fertility expert has suggested her to go for surrogacy citing a potential complication to carry a "baby full term and a second birth," reported Chron.
"You can still get pregnant, but it does expose you to risks during the pregnancy... If I can't guarantee that and surrogacy is the only way to give you a comfortable pregnancy and a nice healthy baby, we'll talk about that," said Dr. Huang according the website.
While mother Kris Jenner said Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian could be a good choice as a surrogate mother for the celebrity couple, Kim is not interested in going for surrogacy as she said that she wanted to get pregnant again. She went on to say that the very idea of having a surrogate is "really scary to me" and that she wouldn't dare to ask anyone to have her baby.
Bringing in more curiosity factor to the show, Kim will undergo uterus surgery in the next episode in an attempt to have another baby.
It's no secret that Kim and Kanye have been trying to give their daughter North West a sibling and have spoken about their plans on several occasions. Kim even said in the teaser of KUWTK that she has been having sex continuously with her husband in desperation to have another child.
"I've been having sex 500 times a day," said Kim Kardashian in the teaser, leaving her younger sister Khloe gasping in disbelieve.
