Kim Kardashian's former boyfriend is now a married man. The NFL player, Reggie Bush, married his fiancé, Lilit Avagyan, on July 12, in a ceremony attended by close friends and relatives.
The guests included Kardashian's half-brother Brody Jenner and his girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter, who shared online a picture of them posing with the newly wed.
"Congrats @reggiebush !!! #bushwedding," Brody captioned the photograph.
Bush and Avagyan got engaged last year after dating for almost two years. The two welcomed their firstborn, a daughter named Briseis, on May 6, 2013, just a month before Bush's former girlfriend Kardashian gave birth to North West.
"[Briseis] is amazing. She's so beautiful. I love her to death. It's just been an amazing experience so far so I'm very excited – just being a father," Bush told Us Weekly about parenthood. "I look at her and I can't believe she's mine. There's still that element of I can't believe this came from me."
Bush started dating Avagyan shortly after breaking up with Kardashian in 2010, and interestingly, his two lovers have a number of similarities. Besides a striking resemblance to the reality-show star, Avagyan is also of Armenian descent just like Kardashian.
Unlike Kardashian, Avagyan is fluent in Armenian, besides Russian and English.
The 26-year-old is a professional ballroom dancer and a ballerina. Reports have it that Avagyan relocated to the US in 2011, and has since made a mark for herself as a talented dancer and choreographer. She has also made an appearance on "Dancing With The Stars."
Nothing much is known about how Bush and Avagyan met, but he recently spoke about his love for his dancer girlfriend, stating that having a baby has strengthened his love for her.
"My love has always been strong for her, but I think it just grounds us more. Having a child now just grounds us more," he told Us Weekly.
Meanwhile, Jenner attending Bush's wedding has many wondering if he did it on purpose to diss Kardashian. Jenner opted out of his stepsister's Italian wedding after the Kardashian clan allegedly refused to invite his girlfriend to the wedding.
However, Jenner has always maintained that it was work that prevented him from attending Kardashian's wedding.
"Realistically, I had work commitments. And, you know, it was a long way away. It was in Paris, it's not like it was right down the street. So that made it a little more difficult," Brody opened up in his new online show, The Brody Jenner & Dr. Mike Dow Podcast.
