After months of speculation that the "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" star was trying to have a second child, Kim Kardashian opened up about her struggle to get pregnant for the second time.
She spoke about the very-personal issue at the E! International Press Junket in Los Angeles on Friday, 9 January.
Her first pregnancy, when she was carrying baby North, was surprisingly smooth, but it is not that easy this time, she told Daily Mail. She added that she is documenting her struggle on the tenth season of the reality TV show. This, according to her, will help other women who are going through something similar in their lives. Kardashian stresses that Kanye supports her decision to document this phase of their lives.
"It's been more challenging to get pregnant the second time around," said Kardashian, who married Kanye West last year and gave birth to their first child in June 2013. "When you're not planning it, it happens. It's just how God works. And when you want it so bad, it's not happening."
On Christmas Eve, the model-cum-socialite confirmed that she was not pregnant despite efforts. The couple reportedly said earlier that they would opt for IVF if Kardashian is not able to conceive naturally.
During the interview, she also cleared some rumours concerning her sister Kendall Jenner. It was reported earlier that Kardashian was jealous of her little sister's successful modelling career. A comment of her's on "Keeping Up with The Kardashians'" sparked the rumours. Kardashian, bursting out in anger, said on one episode of the show: "I'm not buying her shoes, I bought her a f***ing career."
People immediately assumed that the comment was meant for Kendall. Rubbishing the rumours, Kardashian said: "That was not about Kendall. It hurt me when people thought I would say that about her... I'm her biggest cheerleader - we talk all the time. She does ask Kanye for advice and I do think he has been influential in helping her and guiding her with decisions. We're family, that's what we are here for. She works so hard, it's all her."
She then revealed that she was actually referring to another sister – Kourtney Kardashian. "Kourtney was being a little difficult with me," she explained, refusing to give further details and only saying, "You'll see," Ace Showbiz reports.
