Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint by five men dressed as police officers in Paris on Monday. And the big question is – where was her bodyguard? Pascal Duvier is always seen by the side of the TV star and his absence during the robbery has alarmed people. In fact, Kim had even recently tweeted about him being in all her photos.
French police are ardently investigating the incident in which Kim lost jewellery worth nearly 10 million Euros. The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is reportedly shaken and traumatised by the incident where she feared she would be raped. The two men reportedly tied her hands and locked her in the bathroom before fleeing the scene.
Kim's bodyguard Pascal Duvier has been criticised on social media for not having been near the star and protecting her. Reports state that Duvier was in fact with her two sisters Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian at the time Kim was attacked in her private residence.
Duvier, who is on Twitter, declares that he is dedicated to his work and TMZ has even called him the 'Biggest Bodyguard Ever'. Right now, Duvier's Twitter account is private, but he has said in the past that he was hired to do a job and not be a friend.
It is being reported that Kim Kardashian is not blaming her German bodyguard for the traumatic incident. She has said that she had felt safe staying on her own in the apartment at the Hotel de Pourtalès, but things took a different turn early Monday morning. The reality star had posted pictures of her expensive jewellery on social media and that could have been a bait for the five armed men.
Meanwhile, Duvier has promised to track down the robbers. The 6' 4' bodyguard is a devoted father and has told media that he found this entire episode 'sickening'. Duvier has been working with Kim and Kanye since 2013 and this is the first time that he has not been around to help either of them.
