Ms Choi, the former lover of South Korean actor Kim Hyun Joong, is likely to give birth to their first child on 12 September. The delivery date has sparked some curiosity among the fans as it may determine the future of their favourite celebrity.
Although the ex-girlfriend claimed that she is pregnant with his child, the 29-year-old Korean entertainer and his legal representative Lee Jae Man denied the allegation. But the actor stated that if the pregnancy is confirmed and he is proved to be the father then he will take care of the baby.
Since Choi is expected to deliver the baby a few days before their next round of legal proceedings, followers of Joong are eagerly waiting for the verdict. The third hearing will be held on 23 September.
However, there is no official confirmation on Choi's delivery date as her legal representative Sun Jong Moon refused to reveal any details about it, reported Koreaboo.
The legal dispute between Joong and his former lover Choi began in May 2014, after she filed an assault case against him and also cited emotional distress.
The actor is currently pursuing his training as a border patrol at Paju of Gyeonggi-do province in South Korea. Earlier reports suggested that he will take 100-days of leave from military service in September, but he has apparently postponed it.
"It is true that Kim Hyun Joong will not be taking his army leave in September. He has pushed it (back). We don't know the reason why as it is his personal business," Soompi quoted his representative from Key East as saying.
Although several speculations are doing the rounds on Joong's decision, a source close to him stated that he is preparing himself for the next round of legal proceedings, according to AllKpop.
