There's a new celebrity couple on the block. South Korean actors Kim Go Eun and Shin Ha Kyun are reportedly dating and have been in love for the past two months, according to a recent statement by their agency, HODU&U Entertainment.
On Tuesday, Aug. 23, the entertainment company revealed that their in-house artists got together after getting close during their skin scuba diving lessons. HODU&U Entertainment's statement read, "They're just starting to get to know each other. They're dating with good intentions, so please cheer them on," according to Allkpop.
Earlier, Kim, 25 and Shin, 42, were spotted together at a restaurant and the actor reportedly escorted his lady love home. However, the "Pied Piper" star told Ilgan Sports during a recent interview that he is very much single.
He added, "Currently, I am not dating anyone. I personally don't like the word 'something'. If you like someone, then you do, and if not then you don't. I am not sure of this whole 'something' thing."
For many fans, Kim and Shin's relationship has come as a shock, perhaps because of the suddenness of the news. Many also commented on the age difference between the two South Korean celebrities.
Kim, who made her debut in the Korean entertainment industry in 2012 has worked in several hit films such as "Eungyo," "Memories of the Sword," "The Advocate: A Missing Body" and even acted in a K-drama show titled "Cheese in the Trap." The actress signed on with her boyfriend's agency HODU&U Entertainment in August 2016.
