The business of Salman Khan's action thriller "Kick" was expected to grow on Saturday but it witnessed only 5 to 10 percent growth.
The film minted ₹26.40 crore on Friday and raked in ₹27.15 crore on the second day, taking its two-day total to ₹53.55 crore. The film, which was released in more than 4000 screens in the country, crossed the ₹50 crore mark in two days but it won't be able to cross the much-hyped ₹100 crore mark in its opening weekend.
#Kick crosses ₹ 50 cr nett mark in 2 days. Continues its glorious run on Day 2. Collects ₹ 27.15 cr nett. India biz. AWESOME!

But the business of Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut is expected to show huge jump on Sunday. Even during weekdays, the film is likely to maintain the same pace as it maintained during the weekend due to the Eid holiday across the country.
Meanwhile, "Kick" is doing extremely well at the domestic box office, keeping in mind the performance of other films released this year.
The two biggies, Khan's "Jai Ho" and Akshay Kumar's "Holiday- A Soldier Is Never Off Duty" - released in the first and second quarter of the year, had average box office performances. But "Kick" has finished the dry spell by starting on a mammoth note in India.
Overseas Box Office
The film has received huge response in the international markets also, especially in UAE-GCC and the US-Canada region. Just from preview shows in the Gulf region, the film raked in ₹1.63 crore.
In the US-Canada region, the film has shattered Khan's previous records. The first day collection from theatres in North America is the highest ever for Khan films. The film is now set to become Khan's biggest opener in the North American circuit. The film has also kicked off on a grand note in the UK, New Zealand and Australia.
