"X-Men: Apocalypse" is all set to hit the theatres next year (May 2016) and it seems the hype hasn't gone unnoticed by Kia.
Keeping fans of the movie in mind, Kia has revealed a special version of its 2017 Sportage inspired by one of the prominent characters from the movie: Mystique (portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence).
The new X-Men-themed Sportage, or X-Car, as it is referred to by Kia, has custom-designed bodywork with unique-textured tone-on-tone matte and gloss blue paint. It also includes a set of sporty wheels and yellow body accents.
The vehicle will debut in January at the 2016 Australian Open tennis tournament. Kia is one of the sponsors of the tournament.
The Mystique-themed car is the second of Kia's X-Cars. The first one was a Wolverine-inspired Sorento unveiled at the 2015 Australian Open in January.
The 2017 Kia Sportage is an all-new designed car with a sharp look and significantly better material in the cabin than most of the cars in its range.
It has two four-cylinder engines with a more potent version having a turbocharger and 241 horsepower capability,
"X-Men Apocalypse" is one of the most anticipated movies of 2016. Its trailer was praised both by fans and critics. Hence, it seems Kia is hoping for similar praise for the new X-Car.
