"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star Khloe Kardashian is all set to start a family of her own, with or without a man.
Kardashian, who split from husband Lamar Odom in 2013, has reportedly shared with her family her desire to have a child of her own, even if it means becoming a single mother.
Kardashian is not pregnant at the moment, and her biggest dilemma right now is whether to go for adoption or seek a sperm donor. "But she's set on being a mom — and soon," a source told Radar Online.
"Khloe's determined to be more secure in herself and stop looking to others for that missing confidence chip," explained the insider. "She's got so much love to give and desperately wants to be a mom, so she figures there's no sense in wasting time."
The youngest Kardashian sister has reportedly found inspiration from other celebrity single mothers such as Sandra Bullock and January Jones.
"The likes of January Jones, Sandra Bullock and Minnie Driver have convinced Khloe that she doesn't necessarily need a man in her life to be a mom," revealed the insider.
However, this doesn't mean she has stopped looking for love. Shortly after Kardashian split from husband Odom, she was romantically involved with rapper French Montana. But their relationship did not last long.
"It's nothing against French. I just think I don't want a boyfriend," she explained on an episode of "Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons". "I jumped into something because I was just, like, lonely and destructive. But now I'm like, I just want to be alone."
Montana's clingy nature did not help matters. "There's highs and lows in every relationship," she shared. "I have no idea why French calls me 5,000 times a day."
Kardashian is currently believed to be in a relationship with American professional basketball player James Harden.
