Action comedy film "Khiladi 786", which was released on Dec 7, continues to rule the ticket collection window in India in its second weekend.
The movie, which stars Akshay Kumar and Asin Thottumkal, collected approximately Rs 10.75 crore in the second weekend, taking the grand total to Rs 63.25 crore in India.
The film is still doing good business at single screens, but collections at multiplexes remained dull.
"#Khiladi786 collected Rs 10.75 cr nett in Weekend 2. Grand total: Rs 63.25 cr nett. Breakup:- Fri 2.63 cr, Sat 3.37 cr, Sun 4.75 cr," trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted on Monday.
Despite no big release this week, the film earnings declined on the second Monday to approximately Rs 2 crore, taking the overall total to Rs 65.25 crore.
"#Khiladi786 *total after 2nd Weekend* New Zealand NZ$ 59,311 [Rs 27.28 lacs] ... Overall, the film has been rejected," Adarsh tweeted adding, "#Khiladi786 *total after 2nd Weekend* UK £ 191,836 [Rs 1.69 cr] ... USA $ 352,684 [Rs 1.93 cr] ... Australia A$ 121,594 [Rs 69.77 lacs]."
With the falling figure, the movie might not be able to cross Rs 100 crore at the box offices.
Meanwhile, the music of the film, composed by Himesh Reshammiya, has gained much popularity and topped the charts.
The Ashish R Mohan-directed film also features Mithun Chakraborty and Himesh Reshammiya in lead roles.
