Popular television couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij recently made news when buzz about their strained relationship surfaced. Rumours had it Mahhi was apparently upset with Jay's closeness with another participant during the shooting of "Khatron Ke Khiladi 7" in Argentina and would often get involved in heated argument.
However, contrary to the rumours, a recent incident involving Jay and Mahhi has proved that the couple is together and very much in love.
According to The Times of India report, Jay and Mahhi along with Mahhi's brother and actor Kunwar Amarjeet Singh were partying at a nightclub in Santacruz Friday, when Jay got into a fight with a man who was misbehaving with his wife. Although the actor ignored him at first, the man continued to stare at Mahhi, making her uncomfortable.
"The couple moved to another table, but to their horror, the man not only turned up at the new table, but also blatantly stood in front of Mahhi. When Jay confronted him, he said that he just wanted to exchange customary greetings with her. He flatly refused to move. The argument escalated to such a level that they had to almost drag the man out of the club," an eye-witness told the daily.
Confirming the incident, Mahhi told the daily that the man was constantly staring at her despite having told him that she is a married woman.
"He made me extremely uncomfortable. He continued to stare despite my brother telling him that I was a married woman. If he were a fan, we would have understood and respected that fact, but he wasn't. What he did was uncalled for," Mahhi said.
