The new season of "Khatron Ke Khiladi" is all set to go on air on Saturday, 30 January, and looks like one of the contestants, Tanishaa Mukerji, is miffed with the creative team of the show.
According to reports, Tanishaa is so upset with the makers that she will not be attending the show's press conference, which will be held on Wednesday.
"She is extremely hurt. She was cornered, shamed and shut down for asking too many questions before attempting dangerous stunts, which was her right," a source told The Times of India.
"They were genuine concerns about her and other contestants' safety, and not irrelevant queries. It wasn't mentioned in her contract that she shouldn't be doing so. The differences she had with the creative team during the shoot was the main reason. Her expectations were not met. Favouritism towards certain contestants also put her off," the source added.
Confirming the news, Tanishaa told the daily: "I am really upset. Yes, there have been some creative differences. I won't be attending the show's press conference. But I have no issues with the channel; they supported me throughout."
Meanwhile, "Khatron Ke Khiladi 7", hosted by Arjun Kapoor, will apparently witness some major changes in the show's format as the contestants will be split into two teams.
Besides Tanishaa, TV actress Aishwarya Sakhuja will also be participating in the reality show.
Faisal Khan, TV couple Mahhi Vij and her husband Jay Bhanushali will also be seen attempting death-defying stunts on the show. "Uttaran" actress Tina Dutta, actor Siddharth Shukla, Karan Wahi, Vivan Bhathena, Himmanshoo A. Malhotra, Sana Saeed and Mukti Mohan will also be seen fighting their fears on the show.
Raghav Juyal, who hosted dance reality show "Dance Plus", hockey player Yuvraj Walmiki and Miss India 2008 Parvathy Omanakuttan will be part of the season. Popular TV star Vivian D'Sena is confirmed to be entering "Khatron Ke Khiladi 7" as a wild card entry.
