After creating records at the Kerala box office, Nivin Pauly-starrer "Jacobinte Swargarajyam" (JSR) and Dulquer Salmaan's "Kali" have performed well over this weekend (April 22-24) at the U.S. box office.
The Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial has collected a gross amount of $35,526 (Rs. 23.68 lakh) from 11 screens during its opening weekend at the overseas box office, according to Bollywood Hungama. "JSR" is said to have collected another Rs. 12.85 crore gross in 16 days of its theatrical run in Kerala.

Meanwhile, Dulquer's latest movie "Kali" has been continuing its successful run to become the next blockbuster of the actor after the 2015 movie "Charlie." The Sameer Thahir directorial has collected $3,950 from nine screens during its fourth weekend at the U.S. box office. The total earnings of the movie till date from the overseas box office amounts to $43,263 (Rs. 28.84 lakh).
The movie, which narrates the incidents in the life of a short-tempered person, has "Premam"-fame Sai Pallavi opposite Dulquer. The family thriller is said to have grossed Rs. 13.35 crore from 27 days of its run at the Kerala box office.
"JSR" is expected to collect more in the upcoming week at the overseas box office owing to the positive response it has been receiving from the critics and audience. If the movie makes good collection during its second weekend in the U.S., "JSR" might surpass the four-week collection record of "Kali" at the foreign box office.
