The winners of the prestigious Kerala State Film Awards 2015 are expected to be declared Tuesday, March 1. Reports suggest that due to Monday's Union Budget presentation, the announcement was postponed to Tuesday.
Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, the state Minister for Forest, Transport, Sports, Environment, and Cinema, will announce the winners of the awards at a press meet Tuesday at 12 p.m.

Best Actor
Megastar Mammootty and upcoming superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran are said to the front runners for the Best Actor title this year, for their performances in the blockbuster movies "Pathemari" and "Ennu Ninte Moideen," respectively. The other probable names are Dulquer Salmaan ("Charlie"), Jayasurya ("Kumbasaram," "Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam") and Kunchacko Boban ("Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal").

Parvathy, Amala Paul and Manju Warrier are reportedly leading the race in the best actress category for their performances in "Ennu Ninte Moideen," "Mili" and "Rani Padmini," respectively.
Best Movie, Best Director
Debutant RS Vimal's "Ennu Ninte Moideen" is expected to bag the maximum number of awards this year. Salim Ahamed's "Pathemari," Dr Biju's "Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal," Rajesh Pillai's "Mili" are also said to be in the list of nominees.
