Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, State Minister for Forest Transport, Sports, Environment, and Cinema, announced the winners of Kerala State Award 2014 on Monday, 10 August, in Thiruvananthapuram.

The minister announced the results during a press meet in Thiruvananthapuram. The jury members gave the final report on the winners' list early on Monday morning.

The 10-member jury, including John Paul, Bhadran Mattel, Madhupal, Balukiriyath, sound recordist Renjith, cameraman Sunny Joseph, carnatic voclaist Omanakutty and producer M. Hamsa selected the best performances of 2014 in Malayalam from 73 films.
