From errors in the SSLC 2015 results to the delay in conducting Onam examinations, Kerala has been hogging the limelight for all the wrong reasons.
Now, another controversy has hit the educational department in Kerala after the Hindi question paper of Class 10 were leaked in Wayanad before the first terminal, or Onam exams.
The incident happened in the Thomuttuchal Higher Secondary School in Wayanad, where the Hindi question paper was found along with the Malayalam question paper on Tuesday. The school authorities realised the mistake only after distributing the question papers to the students.
Even though reports had said that the physics question paper of Class 9 was also leaked in Malappuram on Tuesday, the Malappuram Deputy Director of Education has reportedly confirmed that the exam will be conducted on Wednesday as the question paper was not leaked.
Following the question paper leak, the Hindi exam has been postponed in Wayanad. The Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) will announce the revised exam schedule later.
This year, the delay in distributing the textbooks on time had forced the state government to postpone the Onam exams, which is usually conducted before the festival every year. The exam began on Monday, 7 September and will end on 15 September.
