Do you remember the scene from "Oru Indian Pranaya Katha," which saw the protagonist of the movie Fahadh Faasil running for his life during a political march when it turned violent? Well, if you thought such things happen only in movies, you are wrong. A similar incident took place in real life when the Muslim Students Federation (MSF) organised a march to the office of the Deputy Director of Education.
The MSF, the students' wing of the Indian Union of Muslim League (IUML), conducted the march to protest against the delay in distribution of textbooks in Kerala state schools. The protest was led by MSF leader Sayed Sharafudheen Jifri Thangal, who gave a long speech emphasising that MSF does not have the history of running away from protests until it sees success.
All was well until some of the protestors decided to march ahead and break through the barricade. Things turned ugly in no time and the police lathi-charged the group. What we saw next was the leader Sayed Sharafudheen Jifri Thangal's epic escape from the scene, reminding us of the role played by Fahadh in Sathyan Anthikad's "Oru Indian Pranaya Katha."
The saga did not end there. Social media has been abuzz with this since then and several trolls and memes have started doing the rounds. Watch the video of his epic run below:
