"Ennu Ninte Moideen", which has become the first solo blockbuster of Prithviraj, has now entered the top five highest grossing Malayalam movies, said reports.
"Ennu Ninte Moideen" has grossed about Rs 30 crore at the Kerala box office alone within a month, reported Onlookers Media. The estimated gross figures of the Prithviraj-Parvathi Menon movie outside Kerala amounts to Rs 3 to 4 crore.
"Twenty20", which had Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram and Dileep in the lead roles, grossed over Rs 33 crore including the satellite rights, while Mammootty starrer "Pazhassi Raja" has grossed over Rs 32 crore.
"Drishyam" is the highest grossing Malayalam movie till date with Rs 75 crore revenue, followed by "Premam" (Rs 60 crore) and Bangalore Days (Rs 48 crore).
However, with several blockbusters like "Amar Akbar Anthony", "Pathemari" and "Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi" on the run, the smooth race of "Ennu Ninte Moideen" has been facing hurdles on the way.
Moreover, Mohanlal film "Kanal" and Manju Warrier-Rima Kallingal movie "Rani Padmini" will be released this week, hence further diminishing the chances of the Prithviraj-Parvathi Menon starrer going up the ladder of highest grossing films.
