Dulquer Salmaan's "Kammatipaadam" and Jayaram's "Aadupuliyattam," which were released on May 20, have been performing well at the Kerala box office.
The Rajeev Ravi-directed movie is said to have earned a gross amount of over Rs. 7.62 crore within nine days of its release in Kerala. According to trade analysts, the realistic action thriller has raked in approximately Rs. 1.52 crore with a share of Rs. 71 lakh on the opening day at the Kerala box office. However, it has failed to break the record of the young star's previous movie. Dulquer-starrer "Kali" was said to have earned approximately Rs. 2.33 crore, breaking the opening day record of his blockbuster movie "Charlie," which had an approximate business of Rs. 2.06 crore.
Jayaram's most anticipated film, "Aadupuliyattam," is expected to have grossed Rs. 5.42 crore within 10 days and is still holding well in the South Indian state. As was promised by him, the actor has donated Rs. 2 lakh from the profit share of the horror comedy movie to the family of the law student from the state, Jisha, who was brutally killed at her house in Perumbavoor on April 28.

"Yodhavu," the Malayalam dubbed version of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's superhit film "Sarrainodu," has also been performing well in Kerala. It has collected a gross amount of approximately Rs. 1.85 crore during its first weekend at the Kerala box office. Meanwhile, the 20-day gross collection of Prithviraj Sukumaran's family entertainer "James and Alice" is said to be Rs. 6.65 crore. The Dileep-starrer, "King Liar," has become the second movie to make Rs. 20 crore gross in Kerala in 2016. It has collected approximately Rs. 20.18 crore with a net amount of Rs. 16.27 crore within 58 days of its theatrical run.
