The Malayalam dubbed version of Allu Arjun's "Sarrainodu" — titled "Yodhavu" — has been performing well at the Kerala box office since its release on May 27. It has become the highest grossing movie in Kerala for the stylish actor, who enjoys a huge fan following in the South Indian state.
After earning approximately Rs. 4.14 crore during its first week in the state, "Yodhavu" is said to have grossed almost Rs. 1.92 crore in the second week, taking a total of Rs. 6.06 crore within two weeks of its theatrical run in Kerala. The gross collection of the action thriller from the Malabar region in Kerala alone is said to be Rs. 2.30 crore. Meanwhile, the movie is said to have earned Rs. 119.3 crore from the worldwide box office within 39 days.
Allu Arjun rules the Kerala box office among the top five Telugu movies, and Boyapati Srinu-directed "Yodhavu" has now become the second highest grossing Telugu movie in the state after SS Rajamouli's magnum opus National Award winning "Baahubali - The Beginning." The multi-starrer blockbuster has reportedly made a collection of approximately Rs. 14.25 crore from various screens in Kerala. The other top Telugu movies, which were well accepted by the movie-goers in the state, include Anushka Shetty's "Rudramadevi" and Allu's "S/O Satyamurthy" and "Lucky The Racer."
While "Rudramadevi" is said to have collected Rs. 4.65 crore, the style icon Allu's "S/O Satyamurthy" and "Lucky The Racer" have reportedly earned Rs. 3 crore and Rs. 2.56 crore respectively.
