In what could be termed as a bizzare incident, a Kerala man, who was said to have practised black magic, has been murdered with his wife and children in Idukki district. What makes the murders strange is the fact that they were carried out by one of the disciples of the deceased who believed that his fate would improve by killing his teacher, Indian Express reported.
According to the report, 52 year old Kanat Krishnan, his wife Susheela and children Arsha and Arjun were found dead from a pit behind their home in Idukki's Vannappuram area on August 2.
Police officials said that Aneesh, 32, was Krishnan's disciple since a long time and committed the killings with a close aid Libeesh who works as an automobile mechanic. Police has arrested 28 year old Libeesh while the search for Aneesh , the main culprit in the case, is still on. Aneesh, police said, had recently began black magic practice on his own.
SP KB Venugopal told The Indian Express that Aneesh was not faring well with his black magic business and his clients were not satisfied with him which led him to belive that only by killing his master would he achieve the power to deliver the desired results to his clients. Venugopal further informed that Aneesh had also planned on looting gold and money from Krishnan's house.
"During his two-year stay at Krishnan's house, Aneesh had found that Krishnan charged huge amounts for black magic. The accused took away gold ornaments, but their exact worth would be known after Aneesh is arrested,'' Indian Express quoted Venugopal as saying.
According to the report, SP Venugopal said that the culprits reached Krishnan's house on July 29th and allegedly hit Krishnan on the head using an iron pipe. When Krishnan's wife Susheela came to his rescue, they attacked her in the same way and later killed their daughter Arsha and son Arjun. Since Krishnan's home was in a remote area, no one could hear the commotion and come to their rescue. The duo later burried the dead bodies in a pit behind Krishnan's house.
Practicing black magic in the state of Kerala is commonplace and if you google Kerala Black Magic, your search results would actually provide you with contact details of various black magicians. The Idukki police has launched a manhunt for prime suspect Aneesh.
