Two boats have collided in the Victoria Lake in Kenya's Homabay County and at least 30 people are feared dead. 

The boats collided on Tuesday night near Remba Islands in Kenya and local fishermen said at least nine people have died, according to the Daily Nation. 

Police authorities have confirmed that two children have been killed in the capsize. 

Citizen TV Kenya reported that at least 30 people are feared to have drowned.
