Keerthy Suresh to romance Suriya in Thaanaa Serndha Koottam

Keerthy Suresh is on a roll. The hot and happening actress has bagged Suriya's forthcoming movie Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, which is written and directed by Vignesh Shivan.

The makers had announced that the name of the actress would be revealed at 9 pm on Sunday, October 16, on Twitter. Fans were curiously waiting to hear it and even created a trend on the micro-blogging site using two hash tags - #ThaanaaSerndhaKoottam and #TSK.

Studio Green, which is producing Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, tweeted, "KEERTHY JOINS TSK @Suriya_offl @VigneshShivN @anirudhofficial @kegvraja @KeerthyOfficial @rajsekarpandian #ThaanaaSerndhaKoottam #TSKheroine."

It was earlier speculated that Nayanthara, who is the rumoured girlfriend of director Vignesh Shivan, would be romancing Suriya in Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. To everybody's surprise, Keerthy Suresh has bagged the Tamil movie.

Keerthy Suresh is a fast-growing heroine in Kollywood. The actress, who made her acting debut in Malayalam movie Geethanjali, entered Kollywood with AL Vijay's Idhu Enna Maayam. Sivakarthikeyan's Rajini Murugan came as a big break for her.

Her recent movie Remo with Sivakarthikeyan has turned out to be a hit, thereby making her position stronger in Kollywood. Currently, she is working on Vijay's Bairavaa, which is in the production stage. The movie will hit the screens in January 2017.

Keerthy Suresh is also working on Bobby Simha's forthcoming flick Paambhu Sattai.

Coming to Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, Anirudh Ravichander has been signed to compose the music. Other details are still under wraps.
