Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is now seen in Anurag Kashyap's TV series "Yudh", has shot for the first episode of "Kaun Banega Crorepati 8".
"The new season of KBC starts and the first day has been shot and canned... The crew and the atmosphere familiar, but never too familiar to destroy the work on hand," the 71-year-old actor posted on his blog.
"It may be 14 years since our association with it... But each moment needs the kind of concentration and effort that shall make it endurable and loved," the veteran added.
The game show has already touched several lives with its new heart-warming promos. The new tagline "Yahan Sirf Paise Nahi, Dil Bhi Jeete Jaate Hain" sends out messages of peace, love and religious harmony. The first advertisement dealt with ethnic issues in the country, while the second commercial focused on religious bonding.

"Kaun Banega Crorepati" has had a successful run that stretches to almost a decade-and-a-half and retains a band of loyal followers. Started in 2000, the TV show is an adaptation of UK game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionare?"
The show has mostly been hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, barring season 3 which was done by Shah Rukh Khan. Bachchan's baritone voice and overwhelming personality are key in making the show unique.
This season, which is scheduled to go on air on August 2, had began its registration back in May.
While Bachchan starrer psychological thriller miniseries "Yudh" has not been received well by the audience, "KBC 8" will hopefully be a redeemer.
