For the first time, the show stepped out of its iconic sets and shot the premiere episode in Surat, which will be aired on 17 August, 8 pm onwards on Sony Entertainment Televison. Reality TV shows have now become a common platform for stars to promote their upcoming releases. "Daawat-e-Ishq" stars, Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapoor, were just following the ritual when they visited the sets of "KBC 8" to promote their film.

He wrote, "Ek adbhut kalakaar Parineeti Chopra .. meri priya .. apni film ki promotion ke liye KBC par .. har film unki dekhta hoon toh unki tareef karne se apne aap ko rok nahin sakta .. Aur unke saath Aditya Roy Kapoor .. industry ke naye 'aashique' .. Film unki 'Daawat - e - Ishq' 'Dawaat-e-Ishq'." The actor also wished for the film's success.
Chopra, who looked gorgeous in a blue DKNY dress, took to Twitter to express her gratitude for the 71-year-old actor, "His humility and energy put us to shame. An amazing day spent at KBC with @SrBachchan. Thank you sir, for having us."
Slated for release on 5 September, "Daawat-e-Ishq" is the love story of a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl and Lucknawi Chef. Reports suggest that Chopra received a training to get her accent right. Directed by Habib Faisal, this comedy-drama will also have Anupam Kher in a significant role.
