After "Comedy Nights With Kapil", Amitabh Bachchan's "Kaun Banega Crorepati" has become the go-to platform for stars to promote their releases. This week, it was the fun cast of "Finding Fanny", Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor.
Amitabh Bachchan expressed his excitement on social media by posting pictures of him and the actors dancing on the sets. He wrote, "Shaking the 'booty' with Deepika and Arjun for 'Finding Fanny' film promotion on KBC .. !! ha ha ha fun !!" and also praised the film's cast, "KBC was fun .. had the gorgeous and affectionate Deepika with Arjun Kapoor on set .."
Padukone, who was an absolute stunner in a Nikasha saree, was seen shaking her 'bootiya' with the senior actor. While, Kapoor demonstrated the signature steps of "Shake Your Bootiya" Song from "Finding Fanny".
The "Gunday" actor was clearly thrilled to be on the show as he took to Twitter to write about one of his 'coolest' experiences. "Shot for Kbc just now with @SrBachchan & @deepikapadukone one of the coolest experiences to be on the hot seat of a show I saw growing up.." While Padukone kept it simple and posted a photo of them along with a note reading, "Angie & Savio go desi.... #FindingFanny #12thSeptember."
Slated for release on 12 September, "Finding Fanny" is a satirical film. Directed by Homi Adajania, it has Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapur in key roles.
The story follows five oddballs on their journey to find Fanny Fernandes. Set in Goa, the film also has Ranveer Singh in a guest appearance. According to reports, he plays Padukone's husband in the film.
