The multi-starrer had opened to fabulous response from the audience and was tagged as one of most entertaining comedy movies of 2015. Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan is being co-produced by Dr Zacharia Thomas and actor Dileep, who is associating with his close friend and business partner Nadhirshah. Ever since Nadhirshah's Amar Akbar Anthony was announced, fans of Dileep were disappointed as the Janapriyanayakan was not part of the hit project, despite the duo sharing a good rapport. With Dileep bankrolling Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan, it is expected to perform well at the box office as the actor previous production ventures, including Twenty: 20, CID Moosa and Malarvaadi Arts Club were commercial success.
Casting
Unlike superstar movies, Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan doesn't have any superstars in the cast, but it stars scriptwriter-turned-actor Vishnu Unnikrishnan playing the lead role for the first time. From the trailer, it is evident that Vishnu's character is an aspiring actor, who is called Hrithik Roshan in his village Kattappana. His performance has been garnering good response from the audience since the release of the official trailer.
The movie also stars Rahul Madhav, Siju Wilsson, Salim Kumar, Prayaga Martin, Lijomol Jose and Swasika in significant roles.
