Katrina Kaif turns 33 on July 16. The "Jagga Jasoos" actress is all set to bring in a quiet birthday this time. From what is being reported, the guest list features only close friends and family. So does Salman Khan get invited?
Her B-Town friends include Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar, Kabir Khan and his wife Mini Mathur, Sidharth Malhotra and her manager Reshma Shetty. They are all people she has known closely over the years and has partied with. They will probably be there with her," a source informed DNA.
Given that Katrina is a regular at parties thrown by the Khan household, it is a bit surprising that Salman is not among names attending her 33rd birthday bash. The source further added that Katrina has seen some tough times in the recent past (she split with Ranbir Kapoor), which is why she wants to be surrounded only by people she loves best.
"Katrina has moved on post her break-up with Ranbir. She isn't waiting around for him to return. She has accepted the split and now wants to be around people who love her and have been by her side for years," the insider elaborated.
On the work front, Katrina was supposed to have two releases this year, of which one may be pushed to 2017. "Baar Baar Dekho" with Sidharth Malhotra will open in theatres as planned, on Sept. 9. "Jagga Jasoos" may be delayed.
Apparently, Ranbir believes there's a good chance that the audience could get tired of watching hm if "Jagga Jasoos" releases too close to his other film "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil." The actor wants some breathing space, Catch News reported.
