The birth anniversary of legendary director Yash Chopra is all set to be a grand event on 27 September.
Yash Chopra passed away last year due to multiple organ failure. His wife Pamela is reportedly planning to throw a big bash to celebrate her husband's birthday this year.
She and her two sons, Aditya and Uday, prefer to celebrate it in a unique manner every year. "This year, we are in the process of putting together something really big," Pamela confirmed in a chat with the media.
Nine Bollywood actresses who have been part of his films will walk the ramp at a fashion show to be held as a tribute to the legendary filmmaker.
"Nine actresses from the film industry, who have been a part of Yash Chopra's films, will be walking the ramp for the fashion show to be held at YRF studio," a source was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
Bollywood divas including Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta and Juhi Chawla among other stars will participate in the fashion show.
They will be walking the ramp to showcase India's first cinema-inspired ethnic couture brand, Diva'ni, which is owned by Yash Raj Films (YRF) and Delhi-based Karol Bagh Saree House (KBSH).
Pamela is expected to launch a line of sarees from Diva'ni. We also hear that a film announcement in memory of Yash Chopra might be made. However, there is no confirmation on the same.
