Here's some exciting news for fans of Katrina Kaif. The actress has reportedly bagged a film opposite the current sensation of the country, Prabhas.
Yes! You heard it right. Rumour has been doing the rounds that Katrina will star in Sahoo, which is Prabhas' next project after the biggest blockbuster of all time, Baahubali: The Conclusion (Baahubali 2).
Sahoo teaser, which was released along with Baahubali 2, has been creating a lot of buzz. To be directed by Sujith, the film will be made in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
Catch News report said that the makers were in search for the leading actress and after the success of SS Rajamouli's film, they decided to cast a Bollywood actress. Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra and Amy Jackson were also considered but the role finally went to the Baar Baar Dekho actress.
If this report turns out to be true, Katrina will surely be at the top of the game, with many star-studded big releases in her kitty – Ranbir Kapoor's Jagga Jasoos, which is releasing soon, Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai, Shah Rukh Khan's next with Anand L Rai and Thug of Hindostan with Aamir Khan.
Meanwhile, Prabhas, who had dedicated five years to the Baahubali franchise, is holidaying in the United States. The shooting of the new film will start soon after the star returns.
