The Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor engagement news has been going on for long, and not very surprisingly the latter has denied having taken their relationship to the next level.
However, according to a Filmfare report the actress has turned down a three-film deal with Disney to settle down with beau Ranbir Kapoor. This piece of information comes right after reports of the "Bang Bang" star trying to bond with to-be mom-in-law Neetu Kapoor surfaced.
The reports are in stark contradiction with what the Kapoor scion said a few days ago. Flatly denying engagement rumours, the "Roy" actor pointed out that the speculations were unnecessary and invasive.
"No, I am not. Engagement is to tell the world that right now we are promised to get married. I have not reached that place in my life. I really wished that tabloids, magazines and news channels stop making conjectures about that as it spoils the spontaneity of it when it finally happens," The Times of India quoted him as saying.
The rumours of the two stars dating one another first emerged when a bunch of private photos from their romantic getaway in Ibiza made its way to the internet. The couple at the time denied their apparent affair, but when the news of the two moving in together in a plush Bandra flat emerged there was very little they could defend. Ranbir, however, who is known to be a private person, tries his best to keep his personal equations away from the prying eyes of the media.
In other news, after "Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahaani" and "Rajneeti", the much-in-love couple are set to woo the audience with their crackling chemistry in Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos". The film will see RK essay a teenage detective for which he has been given a special look. Shot across varied locations, the film is now slated for a 27 November release.
