If recent rumours are to be believed, then Bollywood's hottest stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be seen romancing each other in Imtiaz's next project.

Recently, rumours were doing the rounds that Ranbir will once again be paired with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali's next venture, after the success of "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani".

However, tinsel town is abuzz with rumours that Katrina has been approached to play the female lead in the film.

Revealing that Ranbir is keen to work with Katrina in the project a source told The Times of India, "She (Katrina) hasn't signed the film as yet, but Kat will be doing Imtiaz's film. Ranbir is keen on working with her as well."

Imtiaz has made no any comments on the casting, but the film's producer Sajid Nadiadwala brushed off the reports saying, "No, not true."

"No one has been finalised," he added.

Ranbir and Katrina had last shared screen space in 2009 romantic comedy "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani". Since then, they were rumoured to be dating each other but have maintained silence about their relationship.

The reports of Katrina being cast for the film comes at a time when Ranbir and Katrina were said to be parting ways due to the former's growing friendship with Deepika. But speculations of their breakup came to an end when the duo was spotted holidaying together in Europe.
