Grapevine was abuzz with the reports that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will star in Kabir Khan's movie. But the latest report suggests that Katrina will work with Kabir, but that film won't feature Salman.
According to BollywoodLife.com, Salman has been helping Katrina in choosing right movies for her. Katrina's past few movies didn't do well at the box office and now her ex-flame has come to her rescue to select good movie offers. And Kabir's film is one among them.
"Salman Khan has recommended his buddy Kabir Khan do a film with Katrina and you might see Phantom director soon announcing a film with Fitoor actress," a source told BollywoodLife.com, adding: "Since the last few weeks Kat and Kabir have met several times for script readings in one of the five-star hotels and soon Katrina will commit her dates to him."
Also, Katrina making an entry with "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" director Kabir at Baba Siddique's Iftaar party added fuel to the rumours of them teaming up for a film.
But these rumours have been going on since the start of the year and until now there has been no official announcement from Kabir or Katrina about their team up. So we will have to wait for the director-actor duo to make an announcement about their projects.
Meanwhile, reports also suggested that Salman recommended Katrina's name to Rhea Kapoor and Rajkumar Santoshi for their projects.
Rhea is making a chick-flick for which Salman suggested Katrina's name. However, things didn't work out in Katrina's favour and now Rhea is making the movie with Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
He also reportedly suggested director Rajkumar cast Katrina in their upcoming film. And if reports are to be believed then Katrina and Salman will share screen space in Rajkumar's directorial film.
