Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone's rivalry puts makers of Shah Rukh Khan's movie in trouble?

Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone's supposed rivalry has reportedly put Aanand L Rai in a difficult situation. Aanand L Rai apparently wanted Katrina and Deepika as the two lead actresses in his upcoming movie with Shah Rukh Khan. But, the Fitoor actress is reportedly not ready to work with Deepika.

According to Filmfare, Katrina has threatened the makers of the untitled dwarf movie starring Shah Rukh that she would walk out of the project if Deepika is roped in. The director has already finalised Katrina as one of the female leads in the film and is considering signing Deepika as the other lead actress.

However, Katrina reportedly told the makers that she will not be a part of Shah Rukh and Aanand L Rai's upcoming movie if Deepika is finalised. While Deepika is having a wonderful phase in her career with back-to-back hits, Katrina has been struggling to bag a box office hit.

Also, Deepika has become much popular after being part of Hollywood movie XXX: The Return of Xander Cage starring Vin Diesel among others. While professional insecurity can be a reason for Katrina's unwillingness to share screen space with Deepika, another cause can be their apparent differences due to same ex boyfriend.

After Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor broke up, the actor got into a relationship with Katrina Kaif. However, Ranbir's second relationship also did not last long and they parted ways. There have always been rumours of cold war between Katrina and Deepika and looks like the rivalry still remains strong.
