Oscar winning actress Kate Winslet has reportedly married her fiancé Ned Rocknroll at a secret ceremony attended by just a handful of people close to them.
Kate's friend and "Titanic" co-star Leonardo DiCaprio gave the bride away at a private ceremony attended by just six friends from each side, including the actress' children Mia and Joe, from her previous marriages to film directors Jim Threapleton and Sam Mendes, reported The Sun.
It is reported that the parents of the couple were not informed of the wedding.
"Kate and Ned got married in a really romantic and private ceremony. They had been planning it for a while. They are both so happy and very much in love. Kate is very private and didn't want anyone to know. She asked if Leo would give her away because they are best friends," The Sun quoted a source as saying.
"Kate has never looked so happy. Since she and Ned got together it has been full steam ahead. Marriage has always been on the cards and they've been talking about doing it for the last couple of months," added a friend.
Kate secretly got engaged to Ned, nephew of Virgin tycoon Sir Richard Branson, this summer after dating for a year.
The 37-year-old actress was earlier married to director Jim Threapleton and has a daughter (Mia Honey Threapleton) with him but they got divorced in 2001. She then married film director Sam Mendes in 2003 but parted ways in 2010. They have a son (Joe Alfie Winslet Mendes) together.
