Kate Middleton may have used the opportunity of the Queen's 93rd birthday celebrations to make her feelings for Meghan Markle clear. Reportedly she was left out of Kate and Prince William's birthday tribute to the Queen. And the move may have been deliberate.
Reportedly the Queen's 93rd birthday was celebrated on Easter Sunday and in tribute, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sent birthday wishes to the Queen on their Kensington Royal Instagram account. The post read: "Wishing a very happy 93rd birthday to Her Majesty The Queen!"
However, the picture used is one from 2016 before the Duchess of Sussex had joined the Royal Family.
The three-year-old photo shows the Queen waving next to husband, Prince Philip at Trooping of the Colour in June. Princes William and Harry, as well as Kate and Prince George and Princess Charlotte, featured in the photo. And as expected Royal fans took to social media to voice their displeasure at the Royal snub.
Meghan has been a part of the Royal family for over a year now, and is the Duchess of Sussex, so leaving her out is a deliberate move that is meant to send a message across. Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have allegedly been involved in a feud for a while now.
Both Meghan and Kate have not shown any outright signs of hostility or friction, but it seems that this little snub from Kate Middleton sends a clear message. Meghan Markle is on maternity leave and is expected to give birth this month. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have moved to Frogmore Cottage to prepare for the arrival of the Royal baby.
