Kate Middleton, who is currently pregnant with her second child, is plagued by rumours over details of the next royal baby and reports are doing the rounds that she is expecting a baby girl.
The alleged reports surfaced after Middleton and Prince William were photographed leaving a clinic on 15 October. The photos published by New York Daily News showed the happy-looking couple descending down the stairs on a rainy night in London.
There is no confirmation to reports if the royal couple had gone to see a doctor but it was the first time Middleton was spotted since the announcement of her pregnancy. The duchess apparently went for the sonogram of her baby and they reportedly expect a baby girl, according to Celebdirty Laundry report.
Meanwhile, the photos published by NY Daily News have reportedly created a privacy concern with British newspapers not publishing the photos as they thought it might raise a privacy row.
"Our head of news and news editor feel there is nothing more private than a woman going for a pregnancy scan, if that is what was happening," said The Daily Express' royal reporter according to The Daily Beast.
It may be recalled that Middleton has been a victim of privacy breach on many occasions in the past. In 2012, pictures of her on a beach while she was on a vacation surfaced in the media. The royal couple issued a legal warning against a photographer, who was trying to capture Prince George while he was playing in a park, earlier this month.
"The Duke and Duchess have taken legal steps to ask that an individual ceases harassing and following both Prince George and his Nanny as they go about their ordinary daily lives," The Kensington palace spokesperson said according to a report by Telegraph.
The photographer in question was Neeraj Tanna. He has been accused of chronicling Prince George's antics while he was with his nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.
Meanwhile, the palace has officially revealed Middleton's due date and it's April 2014. The statement by palace also said that Middleton is still suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum but her condition is improving.
Kate Middleton and Prince William are scheduled to meet Singapore President Tony Tan during his four-day state visit this week.
