Kate Middleton has been making headlines constantly after the birth of Princess Charlotte on 2 May. The latest is that the Duchess of Cambridge is all set to resume royal duties with Queen Elizabeth's birthday parade, and that she and Prince William are also considering renting a vacation home in America.
Kate is expected to end her maternity leave and return to her royal duties on Queen Elizabeth's birthday parade, to be held on 13 June. This will be her first office public appearance since the birth of Princess Charlotte.
Meanwhile, the British royal couple has been planning to spend some quality time together and chill in the US this summer. The Duke and the Duchess are said to be looking for a vacation house there.
According to OK! Magazine, the British royals were thinking where to spend the summer and have finally decided on The Hamptons. In fact, the report also said that they are looking for a large estate on the coast of Long Island, New York.
"They've sent one of their advisors over to consult with real estate brokers, and they've narrowed the search down to a few different properties. Now they're just going through the formalities," a royal source told the website.
Apparently, Kate and William were inspired by their own upbringing and have always wanted to give their children a normal childhood. Hence, they have wanted to have a home abroad, a source told the website.
"Diana used to sit down with William and show him photographs of her travels, and she'd point out the exotic places she went on maps. She'd tell him that he should never settle for a life inside the palace walls, and that he must experience all that the world has to offer," the source said.
Well, if these reports are true, then maybe Kate and William have taken Princess Diana's advice seriously and have decided to expose their children to the nuances of a normal life.
Now, we won't be surprised if Kate Middleton and Prince William, along with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are spotted hanging around in secluded area of The Hamptons sooner or later.
