With the reported due date of the birth of their child drawing near, Prince William and Kate Middleton may head to the hospital anytime.
Kate Middleton is expected to check into her suite in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital, when she goes into labour.
The suite is said to be equipped with a television, a radio, telephone, internet, a fridge and other facilities. But the expectant couple should pack lots more items when they check into the hospital. They should bring maternity notes and birth plan, clothing for the expected mother and the baby during their stay in the hospital, and the outfits they should wear when they are discharged.
The hospital doesn't provide books, magazines, music, etc so the royal couple has to pack them in case they need them during their stay.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are tight-lipped about the due date of their first child but Daily Mail reported that it is 13 July.
"Some of Kate and William's closest pals were at a barbecue hosted by a family friend of the Royals recently. They were all discussing the fact that Kate's baby is due to be born on July 13. Everyone was very excited," a friend of the couple had told The Daily Mail.
The royal couple will welcome their first child amid the Coronation Festival, a four-day event (July 11-14) to mark 60 years since Queen Elizabeth II was crowned, so they may miss the miss the celebrations. Kate Middleton hinted on several occasions that it would be a girl, but Prince Harry reportedly told friends that the royal couple is expecting a baby boy.
They have reportedly started preparing for baby nurseries at Nottingham Cottage and the apartment 1A in Kensington Palace a couple of months ago.
