UPDATE: A third grenade attack was reported at a BSNL tower in Srinagar on Friday. One person has reportedly been injured in the grenade blast.
Two grenade blasts were reported at telecom offices in Srinagar on Friday, in a fresh attack on telecom operators in the state.
No injuries have been reported yet.
The grenade attack took place at an Aircel showroom and a Vodafone tower, according to reports.
Armed men reportedly entered the Aircel and Vodafone offices and asked employees to leave before hurling grenades, according to Hindustan Times.
Terrorists have been targeting telecom operators in Kashmir since the past few months in a bid to disrupt cellphone services. At least six people, including a BSNL employee, have been killed in such attacks since May.
A splinter group of the Hizbul Mujahideen, the Lashkar-e-Islam, has been blamed for many of the attacks.
