The video, which has now gone viral, was initially shared by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, to show the Indian Railways' support in promoting tourism in the states of Jammu and Kashmir.
From the Banihal station, a train can be seen passing through the heavily snow-laden surface of Kashmir and to make it even better, the white snow-capped mountains can be seen in the background.

Even former South African cricket icon Jonty Rhodes couldn't help gushing about the beauty of Kashmir in all its winter glory, talking about how he has been to experience the scenery first-hand and how he can't wait to experience it all over again!
I have been a few times to snowboard in Gulmarg; does this mean that I can take a train from Delhi to Srinagar with my family this winter, sir?

"I have been a few times to snowboard in Gulmarg [sic]" wrote Rhodes. "Does this mean that I can take a train from Delhi to Srinagar with my family this winter, sir?"
And in that moment, we were all Jonty Rhodes, trying to get on the fastest train to witness the winter paradise that Kashmir turns into every year and comparing the beauty of Kashmir to that of Switzerland's, firmly believing both were at par!
One thing good about the snow in Kashmir is that it stirs the creative faculties of small kids. And don't forget the smile of accomplishments. pic.twitter.com/5ubLhyNYLE

Not that long ago, Omar Abdullah himself had posted photos of Kashmir receiving its first snowfall of the year's winter, shrouding it in a blissful scene that looks fresh out of a winter wonderland.
